My husband Lee is the sweetest man alive. He loves his job and goes happily to work. He washes our 5 hound dogs and takes care of them with kindness. Most importantly, he takes care of me and I don't know what I would do without him.

I think--wait, I KNOW--I'd go crazy without my husband, Kyle! My kids are nuts about him and why shouldn't they be? He's the best dad! He plays long and hard with them as soon as he sets foot in the door after work. When it's bath/bed time, HE takes care of it! What a guy! Sometimes I worry that they like him better than me ;)

I am so lucky to have the husband I do, he does all of the running around for me, does dishes, he's a fix-it yourself kind of man so he's always busy. He loves making us and the kids happy, he is always a hands on dad!

I've been blessed to have many great men in my life. Growing up, my dad was my best friend, he was very sick when he walked me down the aisle in 1998, but he wouldn't let that stand in the way of being there and active on my wedding day. He passed away the following year and I am soo glad he met and approved of my husband who is currently the best man in my life and my best friend. My husband makes me laugh every day of my life. He also works from home so that he can take good care of our fur baby Moose.

Well, we all call him Papa but he really is my stepfather. He has alway's been there in my life when my real father never was so he is a blessing to us.

Thank you!

My wonderful man has the patience of a ssint, and is the sweetest, handsomest man alive. Even though he has a lot of health problems and is in a lot of pain-he keeps on smiling and doesn't complain.

My Dad helped me to get thru many rough times. I won't go into detail but every child deserves a Dad that loves them unconditionally.

Hey! Thanks for the note on my blog. I know - "formaldehyde wrinkly" is a fully insane search. I want to track down the person who is searching for that and interview them.

By the way - I love the look of your products - very appealing. :)

And now about my dad: He's special because he has set a high standard for the kind of love I should expect from all of the other men in my life. He's not perfect, but I think that one aspect makes up for everything else.

What makes my sweet husband so special? So many things... He's loving, loyal, intelligent, and extremely giving. And he's constantly putting our family's needs before his own. But what separates him from all the other great Dads out there? I think he's the only guy I know that can actually give a course on loading the dishwasher and he makes the best burgers I've ever tasted! And ever year he bakes me a home-made birthday cake of my choice. One year he even created a Tiramisu ice cream cake. He's my sweetie all right. :)

My dad drinks coke out of a wine glass. And he could probably help you with the wiring in your store.

:p

My Dad is the winner. Always has been. Doesn't matter what the contest is for, he should win. My Dad took on an insta-family when he married my mom nearly 16 years ago. My brother and I were hers from a previous marriage and he welcomed us as his own from the very start despite our rather broken state. Leaving my crappy past mostly out of this story, I'll just say that I was so ready for someone to step up and really fill that role of father in my life and this man finally did. Over the years he's shown me more love and respect and joy than all the years prior to him joining our family and the most important event of all is my submission for this contest. For my thirteenth birthday my Dad secretly planned a date for just he and I to go to dinner while we were already on vacation in California. After getting ready (in a horrible state do to raging acne and a dress I hated), I marched outside with my head down only to glance up and see a limo waiting for us. I was taken on my first and only limo ride to the Ritz and on the the table where we were seated was a beautiful vase of red roses with a tiny box beside it. After we settled in and Dad placed an order for some tasty treats, the box was presented to me... "This is a ring from your mother and I and it represents your heart, (gold ring with heart shape and tiny diamond in center) I want you to wear it and promise me that you'll let me protect your heart until the right man comes along to take care of it forever." "There's a key to that heart" he went on to say (holds up tiny little gold key on chain) "and I'm going to keep the key safe and sound until the day you're married and then I'll give it to your husband so he can have the key to your heart." Dad went on to say how important I was and how much he loved me and wanted me to always know that we were partners on my journey through adolescence. I can't tell you how special I felt and how much he made me feel worthy of the very best by his words and actions in that one evening. I wore that ring until it was replaced by an engagement ring and it guided every decision I made along my path to finding the man of my dreams. I mean, next to my Dad of course! I still get teary when I tell that story or think back on it and I how it was such a simple thing to do, but how it changed my life forever. I love my Dad, there really aren't enough words, but I've obviously found a few today! Happy Father's Day Daddy!
