After yesterday's hurricane, I was amazed to wake up this morning to see this. How lucky I am to live in such a beautiful city.
Spring! I think it's getting ready to sprung.
View from the other end of my neighborhood. I want to take a trip to one of the Islands this summer. Any good suggestions?

Oh, those donuts look fabulous. And as for islands...I'd suggest Vashon, during the annual Strawberry Festival. Only don't try to take the ferry just before or just after (it's a madhouse) - if you can, stay for a day or two. I have the best memories of Vashon picnic in summertime & a fig tree on the side of the road.
