Sweet Anthem is a perfumery based in Seattle, WA run by designer
Meredith Tucker. Her perfumes contain a mix of luxurious essential and fragrance oils. They are diluted in jojoba or evening primrose oil which provide a silky texture on the skin. This formulation helps create a long-lasting, divine fragrance experience.
With each new perfume, Meredith creates tributes to women that she admires; be they fictional, famous, or just some of her close friends. You may recognize some of them.
*I'm waiting for the "Cordelia" hint hint Meredith...Others you might not. Regardless, they are each deserved of a fragrance of their own. Why must such prestige be reserved for supermodels and celebrities?

Unlike mass-produced, commercial perfumes, Sweet Anthem creates perfume oils using 80-85% concentration rates and dilutes most of the perfumes in jojoba, evening primrose, or pomegranate oil. This formulation creates a silky texture, a long-lasting fragrance, and a skin-safe perfume experience.

Yes, I am obsessed with kissing this week. It's almost Valentine's Day...give a girl a break. I love these cups by Trixie Delicious. Been coveting them for awhile. Since I'm getting a new apartment (more on that later), I think I should buy them for myself. 
People should kiss more....above I am kissing one of my very favorite people. Someone who happens to have been born on Valentine's Day.

As I was walking by the Macrina Bakery in Belltown tonight, I saw the most perfect Valentine's Day display. In their window they have a big paper heart that reads, "who & what have you done for love?". And all around this heart are smaller hearts in which people have written their personal answers to this question. It gave me something to think about as I walked home.....not so much the who, but the what for sure. And I must have smiled the entire way home thinking of all the things I've done for love and wondering how different I'd be today had I not taken some of those leaps. Of course I'll never know, and don't really want to because each one of those leaps....even though some didn't turn out the way I had planned...molded & shaped the way I feel about love today. Which is good & happy & makes me feel very very lucky. It was a good walk. And that window will have me thinking for days.
